For over a decade, IBSA Basketball has demonstrated and preached personal discipline, development and character. We have taken on the job of instructing and impacting youth athletes with an unending passion and the utmost care. 

 

The Dream Foundation was created on the simple realization that as our circle of influence grows, so too should our circle of concern. It is our responsibility to navigate our time and resources with the same discipline and character we expect of our athletes. 

 

Therefore, we have decided it is time to implement strategies to make a positive impact. There is more we can do, and the IBSA is committed to striving to do all that it can.

 

 

SWISH 4 SUPPORT
 

"Swish 4 Support: A Mental Health Initiative" is an engaging event organized by the IBSA Dream Foundation in collaboration with the Canadian Mental Health Association - Halton Region Branch, scheduled for August 10th at Kings Christian Collegiate. 

 

This event is dedicated to raising awareness about youth mental health programs, demonstrating how sports can play a crucial role in supporting community wellness and mental well-being. 

 

The day starts with a basketball clinic for kids, where IBSA coaches will guide participants through drills and games designed to improve their basketball skills while emphasizing the importance of mental health awareness. This clinic offers a supportive environment where young athletes can develop their athletic abilities and understand how mental resilience plays a crucial role in sports and everyday life. 

 

To join in the festivities and to support this cause, attendees must register by visiting the CMHA donation page and contributing a minimum of $10 per person. The afternoon will continue to entertain with the premiere of the IBSA Dream Pro-Am game, featuring exciting events like a dunking competition and a three-point contest. This segment not only highlights top-tier basketball players but also reinforces the importance of community support for mental health, all while offering the chance to win fantastic prizes throughout the day.
